Boy, I don't see how you could keep up on more than one thread on THIS issue. I am not familiar with Leno's ratings as interpreted by Bill Vaughn. As I said, I am an ordinary citizen, not usually involved with politics. I rarely read the N.Y. papers or stay up late enough to catch Leno. I am, however, deeply enraged by the Republican campaign and tactics and therefore am sufficiently moved to express my feelings about it on the Internet. I have a strong feeling I represent a lot of people. (I guess everyone does.)
