I've noticed all those things Michael and a lot more.. When you get an invitation to appear as a witness against yourself, and when your attorney is demanded to turn over your discussions, worries, extraneous stories and plans to defend you.. then perhaps you'll sing a different tune. You'll of course remember with pride, as you're marched off to jail, that you supported tearing away at attorney/client privilege. You'll advise your wife to not confide anything to anyone, especially your defense attorney because as you say, there are too many lawyers. It won't matter that your family will be dragged in to testify how you got angry one afternoon over leaving the refrigerator door open, or how someone thought they heard someone else say you were a racist, or that they heard from someone else you were a radical who believed oatmeal was the salvation of digestion. Regarding AM talk radio, I've never heard so much bull and stupidity in my life as what I've heard lately. To name a few: The prophesy club: 1. that secret soviet societies planned the downfall of Russia in order to lull us into false security then nuke us in the year 2000 and overrun us with a 60 million man army. 2. that there are angels guiding atomic weapons and if you believe you will walk from the rubble into a new land.. la la land. 3. that the Y2k problem will have neighbor killing neighbor over food, therefore you should buy their special $ 3400.00 survival food package to defend against starvation. or Rush Lowball: 1. the man that proves the Peter principle ------ Its entertainment my friend and you're being sold a bill of goods.

Did you know that about 50% of the people called for a poll simply hang up? How accurate can they really be? Fact: My sister told me just last weekend that she was called by a political polling organization. After the first few questions, as it became apparent that my sister was conservative Republican, the pollster hung up on my sister. That is how blatantly dishonest these polls can be. After all, even a pollster has political views, no? The temptation to get the desired result is there--and who's going to know? Even if a call is monitored, the person calling for the polling organization can always say that the other person was the one who hung up.
