Got it! Thanks very much. I did mean to say 1500KB not MB, but typed the wrong thing.

There is a lot of cooperation and information exchange on this thread and no BS.

Compare that to the Yahoo! thread where 4 out of 5 posts are BS, hype, whining, obscenity or other unpleasantries. They also have very little technical knowledge over there, and appear to be mostly small, inexperienced investors. Still, I skim it for that 1 post in 5 or so that is worthwhile.

The Fool board, on the other hand has good TA, and experienced investing type posters, but they are also short on technical background. Because of this they can't see the true potential of MRVC's technology, and tend to be overly-pessimistic. But as roktar has pointed out, the pessimists have done a lot better playing this stock than have the optimists. I read that thread as well as a good reality check.

That said, I believe that the people saying MRVC's technology has lost it's competitiveness and edge are WAY off base. If I thought that, I would be elsewhere, given the poor market perception and low expectations.

A beautiful example of this is the Fiber Driver product information on the site and in the PDF document. I encourage everyone to download the document and read it. Even a non-technical person should be able to glean something of the significance of this new product. Technical people should see why this product should be a BIG winner for MRVC - and when you look at their entire product line and current/future markets, you will see how attractive their products taken in total should be to both Enterprises and Carriers. And when you add in point-to-multipoint DWDM-16 and beyond with a real killer router product they will have a full next-generation solution in place by this time next year.

"ALL" that will then be missing (chuckle) is the marketing and Strategic Alliances and partnering necessary to crack the large Enterprise and Carrier markets. Noam appears to be very aware of this, having stated in the Q2 CC that he was hiring high level marketing types with Carrier experience.

Since this is the possible fly in the ointment, and Noam knows it, I believe he can pull in some partners or alliances in the future. One board member is from Siemans, and if MRVC talks to ASND they might be able to interest them too.

ASND has a 12-18 month lock on the carriers right now, but they might not be able to hold it beyond that without technology like MRVC's. They are weak on DWDM, and also in the Enterprise. They are basically WAN switching and RAS - too risky long term competing against CSCO that plays in many more markets. MRVC would be a beautiful fit for ASND - first as a partner and hopefully later as a subsidiary? Does Mory see this? I'm hoping he does.

Now, if and when Noam does make a major alliance announcement, what do you think that will do for the stock price? <VBG>. All anyone needs to do is look at what a significant revenue increase would do for the bottom line. $80 Million and a 43% GM takes us back to $0.25 EPS EVEN growing R&D and SG&A further. Now, I'm not saying this will happen in Q4 or probably even in Q1, but I plan on being there when it does happen.

Back to the PDF document. It contains no pricing information, but does contain a lot of technical information. I was hoping to find some pricing information to do some analysis on how this product could effect Q4.

I can still do that to a very primitive extent. I will try to post something later.
