Scott, you might as well, since GPGI's stock is not marginable, you have no advantage in holding those in anything but a cash account.

In theory, this is true. A bunch of us tried it with CTYS last year when they were in a death spiral of Floorless convertibles. It didn't work then. It probably wouldn't now. However, I make it a firm policy to keep long term holdings in my cash account for that very reason.
