I think that 3COM is simply the first of the big networkers to realize that a Storage Area Network is a NETWORK, and a largely untapped one at that. In order to provide any form of end to end solution, how can you leave out the NETWORK that connects the storage? 3COM is after that piece of the pie too>>> I think you missed my point. What I was saying was an attempt to explain why Gadzooz if it is in fact going to be Gadzoox in the upcoming 3COM news . I agree with what you think about the big networking companies. The IBM, HP, SUN, Ancor, Brocade cannot take these massive storage data across the continent, only the 3COM, Cisco, Asnd can if they start now. I was trying to put things in proper perspective. If you are expecting big sales from networking companies in FC products soon, you may be disappointed. KJ
