The biggest difference between Clinton and Thompson as far as I'm concerned is that Governor Thompson hasn't been on TV wagging his finger, acting hissy and lying; getting blown while sending American boys in harm's way; and blowing up pill factories to divert attention from his misdeeds. My friends in Port Washington and Fort Atkinson all say that Thompson's fiscal policies are quite moderate on taxes, but they're cheeseheads and I don't fully trust those behind the cheddar curtain.
