Phil, First of all I will not be buying MGR tomorrow. As for others, there are a number of Turner Valley oil stocks which already have the discovery and are waiting for the tie ins and the next wells - eg CWQ.
Now, I agree that Dave has some kind of discovery, but no means to produce it. I also seriously question the availability of financing to put the thing into operation.

Winter is coming. Natural gas prices will rise. There is new pipeline capacity from Alberta to the US. While nothing is a sure thing - the Alberta gas stocks are far more certain than some stranded capital in the people's republic of Mongolia.

Perhaps "Slick" could declare a budget emergency and divert Social Security money to Mongolia and yet save the day. However, I doubt that that would fit even Slick's expansive definition.

>Dave has indicated that MGR will soon be back in the $1/share range,<
Did I miss an announcement of a 1 for 20 rollback?

TIA,
