Dwight Im not defending Stockman as some kind of enlightened poster. I just dont think hes anywhere near as abusive as some of you and you have no right imo to take a few posts of his and go running to the SI police. He came on this thread unexpectedly and didnt know you so he had no defense really - I wish he would have sent a msg to me to tell me you had sent him a warning because I could have dug up all kinds of dirt on you and Who,Me that was at least as bad as him putting the word IDIOT at the end of every sentence. Its $200. for an SI membership now and some of these people are college kids I really dont think its acceptable to go whining to the authorities every time somebody posts something you dont like. My feeling is that everybody violates the terms of use technically on these threads except for a very few people like j_b and jbe. So, it comes down to who is a bigger whiner as far as who gets a warning or not from the SI police. I was urged by someone a few weeks ago to go to the SI police with regards to Who,Me, and I decided not to, because I think its a tacky way to solve a problem. If there is any way I can help Stockman get his membership back, I will.
