Waxman is pretty well known nationally. He must be a shoo-in right? And everybody remembers him for those hearings a few yrs ago when the tobacco executives were all claiming that nicotine was not addictive - remember that? rofl. They replay those tapes all the time every time an anti-smoking issue comes up, also one place where one tobacco exec says that he loves gummy bears and equates it to nicotine. hahaha. So I would have thought Waxman couldnt be beat.
