That doesn't necessarily follow! Even in this "Information Age" when they say for the period ending Oct 30 they mean Reports submitted in that period. There is always a time lag between the trades taking place and them getting reported. I forget what the limits are but somewhere in the 2 to 4 weeks I think.

It's not easy to keep track of and even tougher to draw conclusions.

Regards

They don't have to report insider buying for thirty days.
There are attempts being made to make insiders report more
quickly. HOwever, from what I've seen, even when insiders do
not report for three months, there is no penalty. At the same
time, your red flag is worth paying attention to.

You seem to be focused on the fact that insiders aren't buying at these levels (which isn't even a solid conclusion because they have a month to report any trades they do). However, you have to look at the other side of the coin and interpret it to mean that insiders aren't SELLING at these levels... right?

Basically, I take those insider trading reports to mean jack-squat...

Next months might be interesting to see if some selling shows up on them...

But, once again... it is a common belief that insiders of mining juniors tend to do most of there trading in an un-reported fashion. So those insider trading reports may only give us a small piece of the insider trading story. (possibly just the piece that the insiders want us to see)

Patrick; I have been keeping a fairly close eye on Wsp
Insider activity since the whooper June release (as inaccurate
as VSE allows the reporting to be) and have seen Greig, Lucas
Turton, Sir John A., and RT buying at levels higher than
option Ex price of $1.62- as high as high $1.80's. Usually
a good sign, FWIW. Here's hoping for a special K breakfast
and more carats than Bugs Bunny can Knaw on.

Talked to Sophie at Winspear 1-604-687-6644

Winspear is still waiting for the detailed analysis of the 2X250 kg. samples. The Lab should be completed this work soon. When it is, the info will be summarized, and a press release sent out. This analysis is of technical / statistical interest, in that the 200Ton sample taken last winter discarded all stones less than 1.5 mm. Additional info will be gained on diamonds under 1.5mm.

Commented that recent gains in share price are due to expansions in tonnage expectation. Officially they are saying 3.1 million Tons, though it is likely much higher - though she wouldn't say. She wasn't shocked when I suggested 80 million Tons.

Info on the 71 holes drilled this summer will be released as the analysis becomes available.

Hope this helps.
