Edwarda...Being "price sensitive" is a good way to pick a buy point, but for me, my experience has shown that if the price is WAY off it's high (especially compared to the sector, or the leading company in that sector) the company may, for the most part, be lagging for a reason....

If I go for short-term plays, which isn't very often..I will only look for short term plays in the Leading company in the sector...Often, although not always, a company's stock price is beat down for a reason, and it may not come back so easily. Just because it's far from it's highs doesn't always make it a good buy..You may or may not be right in assesing it's "turnaround" point....Too much risk for me.

I would suggest to all who want to make money in the stock market, and I have helped quite a few people make big money, buy ONLY THE LEADING company in a sector...There's so much advantage you've got following that approach it's almost like taking candy from a baby.

Regards, George
