No need, I think, explaining. Witness how quickly an oversight committee was gathered.

On extant hedge fund activity: D. Tsang, when asked recently whether or not there remained any hedge fund activity, said he had stated he would advise publicly when the hedge funds had left the market. "And that is exactly what I meant."

(humph) I think I may have detected a bit of frustration in that quote. Depends on who was doing the asking, I guess.

I think they're in for the long haul - e.g. Setting up a separate Investment arm to oversee the recent stock market acquisitions. They are very scared to sell the shares back to the market in fear that the additional liquidity allows fresh borrowings for the short sellers. YEOOUCH!
