Blake, in no particular order - let me reply: I agree with Zeev and
would like to emphasize buying second tier semi equip companies. If
you look at historic charts and compare them to AMAT, the possible
gains are there. AMAT is already too close to its highs. I would
also take a hard look at oil service companies. Even if you stick
with SLB for safety, a double in 2 -3 years appears possible.
SLB expects to earn 10% less in '99 with a significant pickup
in 2000.

I'll read the links you posted now.
We must be careful not to become paralyzed by fear of
adverse events. That's what kept me from buying on October 9th.
But right now I'm waiting for a general correction.
