I'm sorry Bob, I should have been more clear. A "foil" is a clear plastic sheet with text or graphics on it that, when placed on a projector, projects an image on a screen for the audience to see. Presenting a set of foils has been called "foil flipping". AMD has shown foils of the K7, but no silicon. It is obviously much easier to "flip foils" that it is to produce a real processor. I have been making fun of those who get excited by "foil flipping" just as if it was real silicon. Make sense now?
