What if DELL beats estimate by 1 or 2 pennies? DELL reported 0.25 for last quarter (splits adjusted), and even if they beat first call by 2 pennies, that would be 0.29, a 16% quarter over quarter earning increase. 0.29 is the # I believe that they will report, and I'd like to know other people's idea of where DELL will be traded after they report earnings. And I also like to know people's idea of the maximum PE that the street can reward DELL. If DELL goes up at the current speed, it won't take 6 months for it to break trailing PE of 100 (I don't think that it will happen), will investors be scared away for the issue then, or valuation just does not matter for DELL? And what if Fed is not willing to go for another rate cut this time? If so, the market probably will get into a profit taking mood and frankly, the fundamentals of the indexes are well overextended and is poised for a retreat.
