Thanks for responding.....I do not want to publicize the firm name, and I have made no public disclosure of their name yet. They are a small firm located in Manhattan. So far, the compliance people have been very nice to me, I am just wondering what to do if they stop being so nice. They have led me to believe that it is just one rogue broker, and that they plan on making everyone whole, but in the meantime, I have no access to my money. Pretty amazing that this can happen, really.
