Its useful to me. The reasons people pick are more interesting than the picks. Maybe it would help to limit the time frame to post he picks? What are you expecting from the thread? I'm personally here for education. The only strong rule posted is no garbage stocks. So I say let her rip and be inconvenienced a bit to read a meaningless post occasionally and pick up a gem as well.
Thanks,
Glenn

Not to be rude but why are you reading this thread? Personally I like to read about peoples picks and why. I have come up with a lot of good ideas and made some money from some posted in the name of the contest. I could care less who wins the contest unless we start having a consistent winner or I have real money on the pick (g). But I do like to read and research ideas posted. Isn't this what this thread is all about?

Rory

Seems to me that the people who are posting constest picks here are regular posters on this thread, and they want it and like it. I like it, not for the contest, but because it promotes sharing stock ideas and information that we can all evaluate. If you do not want people to discuss their picks and trades through the week, what the hell would you like us to post?

One suggestion for the list of picks. Mike if you could post the list with all of the picks in a single line seperated by spaces so that we can cut and paste them into a portfolio that uses that format for tracking purposes. EX: dell xcit xyln aklm knt ...etc.

Yep, we sure can. But, we kinda' feel like since Tim started the thread, and ok'ed the List (it can't be a contest without prizes)that he should be the one who asks us to leave if that is what he wants.

On a lighter note, some of us use the weekly picks as additional input regarding positional plays that might prove profitable. We feel like more heads are better than one.

I must say I appreciate your honesty in how you feel. Thank you for expressing it.
