Re: "Do you think it's time to begin selling leaps?"

I have begun selling Jan '01 120s. I've gotten $13. This leap is rolling so you can get in and out, or should I say out and in?

Hi Jay,

Its great to be back.

Re. selling of LEAPS: it all depends on the maturity dates of your LEAPS and the trading patterns of the underlying stocks. With INTC 2001 calls, I am inclined to wait a bit more, but for y2k varieties, it wouldn't hurt to take profits as the time premium will start to decline exponentially after Q1 1999.

However, I have been selling and buying--leaps as well as commons--the more volatile stocks such as QCOM, AOL, PFE etc.

Regards,
Ibexx
