TCBinAugusta,
Hi!!!
RE: Hi. Read in our paper that the local county government JUST allocated a couple of million - described as EMERGENCY funds - to fix the Y2K problem. Our county probably has a budget of $150 mil.

Good to know government officials are taking the lead and getting the jump on this problem. Right. (I suspect there are quite a few more in this same situation). I think the big push is starting.

You have an interesting angle here...IMO you are correctly identifying the seriousness of the situation...and quite frankly those that normally would drag their feet on spending or upgrading...well, they have no choice...the dual win win deal is with the correction of the problem you also get the upgrade...governments aren't smart...but, with regards to this...it has been hyped so much they are afraid of looking foolish if they don't take the proper steps to correct it...waiting to the last minute or procrastinating won't due with regards to an issue of this magnitude and one which certainly is not just coming out of the woodwork at the last minute...doing it now is the order of the day...doing it quickly means doing it direct....what company has the #1 rated product...#1 rated service.....#1 rated higher end product....??? Three easily answered questions...and, where can you get it fast??? BUY DELL

Best, Kemble
