IMO, Greenspan's surprise rate reduction was made in order to buy time for safety nets to be put in place (for Brazil in particular), and I wouldn't be surprised to see him try to influence investors to seek value.

I doubt he'd tinker in the minutia that closely, although I believe this would be a wise move.

It must be a tough job, to move money out of your own capital markets without causing a sell panic.

How high up the ladder of momo sacrifice do you think we will go, before world order is restored? :)

I have complete faith in Alan to "do the right thing".

I believe he is in spiritual contact with only good forces.

I was and still am amazed at the strength. Europe too this AM.
