Postmodernism has the convenience of fast food. Problem is your body dies by consuming it, admittedly more slowly if you only nibble. Truth abides. If you don't pursue it, you get lost in the forest of ambiguity. You can never be happy when lost. Postmodernism is why the contemporary era doesn't have a clue about how things work. They never learned what was available in the suffering of the past because the Postmodern universities cling to pretense to knowledge. The two main examples are what is happening in telecommunications and what is happening at the FED. The recent comments by various spokespersons associated with the FED show that they haven't any idea about the hard won truths of the past. In fact, the comments they make are explicitly contradictory. They aren't on the same page. It shows that they can get all the data they want and come up with surprisingly inconsistent interpretations of it. But it is neither their economic philosophies nor their reading of the data which determines what course they will take. That course is Postmodern and therefore is reaction to fear, not action on truth or principle. Therefore, we are all in grave danger. I won't even go into telecommunications, but I will say that if you like the protection afforded the cable tv industry to make it "fair", you'll love the Postmodernism that is dominating all other aspects of telecommunications.
