-------OT------- Just an observation...I know that my trading/investing knowledge is dwarfed by many others here at SI. Still, I have been following the markets for some time. And never before have I seen such unbelievable runs in such a large number of stocks, even though they were clearly oversold. 50% to 100% gains in a matter of a few weeks in a HUGE number of stocks I follow. I was even the beneficiary of many of these moves, though I must admit that I went down with many in the first place :) Want to know what I am talking about? Look at the semi-cap equip stocks: amat, asyt, klic, klac, nvls, asmlf...awesome (though I think that they are way overbought at this point...don't think the picture is looking that good for them, especially asyt which has doubled in the ten days following much worse than expected quarter).. PMTC? How about this large cap being among the heaviest traded last week, and doubling in less than two weeks...RDRT? double...DIMD way up after injunction on the Pimpster was turned down (though I won't touch it with a ten foot pole)...JDAS 50%...ckfr was a 3 bagger in a matter of weeks...CREAF about doubled...fore up about 70% from recent low...oil sector? Look at RDC, SII...gaming? CIR, HOT... The list goes on and on. So why am I a bit bitter? Cause I have so much tied to a certain graphics company...still, I am telling myself to stay positive, because I think that COMDEX will be our short term shot in the arm...still, I am in awe of recent moves in so many stocks...has anyone ever seen so many stocks rally so hard in such a short period of time?
