purething, I think that the holders of TTRIF stock (some of which are very "big boys" with relatively deep pockets) have no one to blame but themselves. The story of this company was in their filings, and I have been there for more than a year warning of the dangers involved in investing in that stock (as I have here). I started to be negative on TTRIF even before the floorless issued August 1997, and the reason was very simply the lack of honest dealings with companies in which management was the major beneficiary. There was a $5 MM in intellectual property on the book, which, IMHO was nothing short of theft. That was a clear signal that something was very wrong.
