Gee, did I not say that both parties were competing to spend the surplus? I pointed out that your claim that the Republicans tax cut ($ 18 B /yr spread over 5 yers) did not exceed Clinton's spending. I pointed out that Clinton tried to shut down the government over cuts in his 100,000 teachers in 1998 and in his pet Domestic Volunteer Corps program. He also pushed through Farm and Y2K so-called emergency spending programs. And now that Clinton demagogues that voters should vote for Democrats since he and his party stand for saving Social Security while he is raiding another employee pension fund to buy 30,000 make work jobs... I guess you ran out of arguments and have to resort to name calling. I don't claim to be unbiased and I don't pretend people on forums are non-partisan. Everyone has their own agendas whether they wish to share them or hide them.
