All this Hype released today, and all IOM can manage is a measly 1/8 point?

The general market is Up as well. This stock has a 10 ton weight sitting on it at these levels. Garbage news like this (niche market Zip OEMs) I was hoping would send IOM Up another full point or so. My IOM buy at $4 1/4 is making money, but my YHOO is doing better, Up 9 today alone, and Up 36% since my buy-in at $102 a short time ago. As Comdex draws closer, I'm hoping the momentum will build up for IOM so I can sell and dump this dog into the laps of the Sucker investors who always seem to buy into all this nonsense coming from the Iomega Pressroom. IOM will then collapse in December after Comdex. It's tempting to add to my IOM short position now, but I have faith that more junk from the IOM Hype Press Machine is on the way.

And my GPS (Gap) has declared another stock split. Overall, a good day.

Sheila, it's good to compare IOM stock movement with the industry.

Sheila,

Now you are just scaring me. <G>

I noticed as I went through my weekend ritual with the Sunday newspapers that computer advertising is increasing in anticipation of the holiday season. Iomega products continue to be featured and almost all of the national chains are now advertising lower drive and disk prices than they were about a month ago. Syquest has fallen off the the face of the earth (at least in print media)....nothing. (FWIW)
