Another theory

Message 5641392

A quote from Ray Rueb, "First off, GMGC doesn't follow the general market, sometimes GMGC is the only stock on my watch list which is up."

I agree with your prior theory that GMGC is loosely correlated to the market in general.

I dunno. Why was WCOM down today? I don't buy into the MM manipulation conspiracy theory, personally. Seems to me that GMGC is basically an unknown entity, is speculative at best at the moment, and is a hard stock for folks to buy into when blue chips and other well established tech companies are sailing up. Why take the risk when you don't have to? In my opinion and especially given the volatility we've seen over the past two months, Wall Street and new investors are reluctant to invest their cash into this one until a few quarters demonstrating significant progress and promise are posted or until several of the major telcos commit to reselling Portico. To me it's that simple. When that happens, either one, I think we'll be in double digits overnight.

Ray, I watched the last half hour of trading today and every time a bunch of stock got sold at the 5 15/16 asking price the ask got moved up to 5 31/32. Why not 6? Who knows!

I cannot begin to understand how the MM's work in the normal day to day trading. I think one can read their actions both in a positive way or in a negative way depending on your slant.

I will say this though. If GMGC only gives us platitudes leading up to and on the 11th, the MM's won't have to worry about dropping the stock price. It will happen for them as investors for the time being head for the exits.

If, however, GMGC comes through with the goods we will see a very nice payoff for our trouble. That is where we are, IMHO.

Best wishes.

Seconds Out.

its the "anticipation" that the mm's are hoping to drop
the price. just like the roll out. the mm's are still
aware of all the stock holders from 2 to 4 that i think
they want to spook out. personally i can't imagine any
earnings between roll out and end of the qtr that will
start a stampede into this market.
look out for the holidays however and watch
it before it really takes off. this "company" not the
stock will be a 100X's investment. my thoughts.

mr. reub:

personally, i would love to see it happen since then i could pick up 5,000 more shares on the cheap (and average down from my current 9ish basis).

i really don't think it is likely, however. i fully expect some significant news out of gmgc come november 11.

just my gut. we'll see soon enough.

good luck to you!

respectfully,

james a. gustino
