<I seem to be getting the jist that we won't be seeing a double digit stock price for two quarters, at least>

I'd be careful when drawing that conclusion. If the small cap market continues to see the cash inflows it has over the past couple of weeks, MRVC could easily see double digits. I think smart money is looking at situations such as MRV's and coming to the conclusion that there are good long-term buys at these levels. Yes, it may take a couple of quarters for MRV to internally improve, but that doesn't mean the stock price can't rebound prior to that time.

I mean, isn't that what we're supposed to be doing? Aren't we supposed to be buying the stocks, today, that represent the companies that will be sought after in 6 months? I don't want to step too far out on any limbs due to regulatory issues, but I will state that by my numbers, this stock looks good in 6 months....

Steve, is there an advantage to taking a ST Loss over a LT loss?
I think there will likely be another period of stagnation/in the dumps this fall even if we do rally from here (which I think is likely). If you have the $, you may want to hold 2x, and if MRVC
gets a big upsurge then sell all (or 3/4). Market is going crazy and may get crazier. Or if it doesn't you may not have a big downside in the MRVC shares.
