more to the point is what interest does alex brown have to spin such a skewed report? 1) selected sales performance of a few titles is misleading. anyone can sell in volume, and lose money, get it? 2) a less spun analysis would be to examine TLC's growth by stripping out the revenues and costs of all acquired companies since Sept/97. then you'll see. tlc isn't growing but just spinning hype. however, there does seem to be a rather large short squeeze happening lately, and my suggestion would be to wait until this stops before anyone tries to short it again. just waiting...
