Hi Claude. Here is a bit of the history.....................

Message 6252623

The BC gov came out with a statement (and formal letter) from the Ministers office that they intend on being a "kinder, gentler" administration towards loggers and miners!! They also stated that they would settle all claims as quickly as possible. They did this as a result of the mass evacuation of both species(miners and loggers) when the Clarke Government just went ahead and expropriated claims due to pressure by the "tree huggers".

This coupled with the Asian economy collapse (which BC is an integral part of) has got the gov scrambling!! They assigned a "public servant" to the Rock case during the summer and now it has esculated to a Meeting at higher levels!!

Rock would have continued to explore BC if this had not occurred and probably would have done well with the Amber properties. Instead they are forced out of their own province by the BC Gov! This results in a significant company reorganization as well as significant expense in purchasing of another property! All is recoverable from the people that caused it IMHO!

It much like a "soap opera" it sort of keeps you hanging until the next episode!<ggg>
I just like the story and the odds, the directors, and the property.

May I suggest you call Tom Kennedy CEO at 1-800-668-9880, he is a very easy going guy and is always willing to take the time to explain Rocks side of the story!!

Old "stock market saying"!! Never take anybodies "word for it"!<gg>
