I noticed this in the Katmai article Brian posted: "A 450-MHz Katmai chip, meanwhile, will command a 10 percent price premium over a Pentium II at the same clock speed, the customers said."

10% is a fair premium, IMO. Seems like Intel's plans to gouge the market for their 8-month-late technology are being tempered somewhat. By March (Katmai introduction), the 450 MHz Pentium II will be selling for $250 to $300 because of competition from the K6-3. Anyone else care to guess?
