Gary,

How many scans do you have in your 'working set'?

The editting friendliness of the QP2 scan/report program
is not the best and I usually export it to an editor with
more flexibility, and then import the finished product.

The simple Loop(0,-2) in R1 has become a morass of programming language in R2 from my perspective. Moreover, the same stock will now show up 3 times in the output list, which never happened in R1. I'm sure there are ways to remedy this, but learning code is not a high priority in my life right now.

I can't fix snippets. How does switching to TC2000 fix this problem of learning something new?

I used to run several "All Group" sets in one scan in R1. Trying to do the same with AND and OR in R2, I once again get multiple hits.

Can't fix this without the code. its really not hard. Also note having multiple hits on the same stock will still only result in the security occurring once in the outputed metastock data.

In R1 I could take an existing scan, tweak it, and "save as" another scan. If there's a way to do that in R2 I haven't found it yet. In fact, I can't even figure out how to cut and paste in the Scan Add/Edit window.

Try Ctrl-C(copy) and Ctrl-V(paste). I use them everyday. This is standard windows stuff and is not specific to QP2.

Excuse the venting, but as I said, I'm extremely frustrated. This is the 2nd time in 15 years I've been hit with a "take it or leave it" upgrade. Last time it happened I left also. I ordered TC2000 on a free trial basis today, so I can look at it before I totally bail from QP.

you must not use computers too much. unfortuntately its all too common strategy. All I currently see is illogical behavior because TC2000 solves NONE of your problems. Posting your code here does and you would probably be a happy camper by the end of the week. BTW: TC2000 export to Metastock is poor at best. I encourage you to look it at. I did. It has some nice features but its not for me. I would like for you to explain how it will solve your unfortunate problem.
