Maybe just the case of "herd mentality": everyone else is selling so things must be wrong so I'll sell too, in the absence of any educated DD guidance, and tax loss selling, there are a lot of shares/share holders out there. Then again, acadamia says the share price reflects all and represents the fair market price of a stock, since no one shareholder knows everything but the sum total does and that is reflected in the share price. Those who know, will act accordingly by buying or selling shares. Sounds good but there are always exceptions. Just some stuff I've been reading. Jay
