Doug,
I caught the post when you posted that! It was on one of the down days and I was just sitting here grumbeling and figured I wasn't gonna make anybody else miserable so, I just didn't say nothin' that day cause I had nothin' nice to say!
I been lookin' at the volume for a few weeks now and looking at Stan Weinstein's stuff on stages of stocks.
PAIR has been acting like it was moving into what he calls late stage 1 condition.
He says this on page 32 in his book and I was thinking it may apply but I been so frustrated I haven't trusted what I'm looking at!
QUOTE:
"After stock XYZ has been declining for several months, it eventually will lose downside momentum and start to trend sideways. Whar's actually taking place is that buyers and sellers are starting to move into equilibrium, whereas previously the sellers were far stronger, which is why the stock had plummeted. Volume will usually lesson-dry up-as a base forms. But often the volume will start to expand late in stage 1, even though prices remain little changed. This is an indication that dumping of the stock by disgruntled owners is no longer driving down the price. The buyers who are moving in to take the stock off their hands are not demanding any significant price consession. This is a favorable indication."
This has been seeming to be going on over the past few weeks Doug. I'm still not sure if I'm reading it right but it does appear to have some merit at this point!
According top Stan's stuff if we move above about 13 1/2 + - we should have a breakout above the 30 week M/A which will be a very positive indication to me!
Just some stuff I been lookin' at! FWIW!
Your buddy,
Jay
PS. Thanks for thinkin' about me too ya'll!
I appreciate it!
