Saw a similar article the other day. I don't think Foreign Reserves are a problem. It's the NPLs of banks that's a concern.

Forming a Federal Reserve Bank is IMO one of the most positive things they've done. The administration of the banking sector has been far too haphazard in the past. This will give them a Federal Reserve Board and oversight instead of local providences. The current situation has the potential of our Savings and Loan fiasco of a few years ago, but no Government bailout.

They steadily erode the local control and are slowly getting some consistency in the system. I'm surprised they haven't seen more resistance, particularly from the military. THen again, when the officers are given the choice of a command or a CEO position...
