Hi Paul:

Over moderate distances, 60Ghz requires LOS, but at
very short distances, like inside a room, some form
of diversity combining of multipath signals will work
well (it is natural to expect that within a room, the
LOS between two computer could become obstructed by
people moving inside the room, or if the computers
are portable and move around). Actually, I think
that the 60Ghz band also allows signal propagation
between rooms in relatively dense clusters.

Best regards,

Bernard Levy
