SyQuest Technology, Inc. Suspends Operations and Requests Securities Trading Halt

FREMONT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 2, 1998--SyQuest Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:SYQT) announced today that it has suspended operations and is considering alternatives including filing a Chapter 11 petition under the Bankruptcy Code. The Company plans to maintain limited support to its customers.

Rocky -

Once again, I have shown amazingly bad timing. The comparison chart for IOM vs. YHOO will not support my case after today, I'm sure.

Yahoo up more than 14 points today. Amazing. In the June quarter of this year they lost more money than they had lost in the entire previous year. They have no trailing P/E, and their forward P/E is over 350.

Yet they currently have a market cap of more than 12 billion dollars! This stock has had an amazing run.

Not exactly a value play at this point, though.
