You are absolutely right, I stand corrected. The indices themselves have not gone over -- though individual stocks certainly have (with nothing new). Scary to think that this will continue! I can never believe Internet stocks have gone so high, until the next day when I look and they have gone higher still!

Maybe my short positions were a little too early. Nonetheless, I think I'll sit this "rally" out. It seems like one piece of bad news, or Greenspan saying something the people interpret as an indication that interest rates will not move on Nov. 17th, and we will see the market retrace this ground...
