Employees have 401(k)'s, many of which have matching contributions by the employer. Which would you rather have? You put 10% into your Roth IRA or you put in 10% plus your employer's 3 to 5% into your 401(k). I would take the latter. You have a guaranteed return of 30 to 50% annual return right off the bat.
