Unixgeek: I agree with you. Those adverts and floating logos are real nuisances. I wish Geocities would get rid of them.

I agree, they are annoying but for a non code writer like me they are just irritants. The quality of the information there makes the trip worth the trouble....if you can measure the trouble to what is provided.

No thanks. That floating logo in the bottom, and the incessant opening of new advert-laden windows has annoyed me for the last time.


You may not like Geocities but if you use Qp2 and don't go to Brookes your missing the most comphrehensive display of quotes plus scans in existance. Even if you don't like the scans themselves there is of course many useful code tidbits to be learned. essential.
