PK Wish i could get one of those oceanfront lots. Beautiful area. Lived in Los Osos for awhile. As for the faults. Diablo Canyon's reactor containment buildings are the strongest in the world. The general populace will be killed by the direct effects of an earthquake of the magnitude it would take to loosen any bolts in that plant. Finally, no human endeavor is without risk. Unfortunately, the media has convinced us that the risk of nuclear power is unacceptably large. The statistics do not support this. I'll quit with this topic while I'm behind. good luck homer s.
