Not normally Jeff, although last week ALL their servers went down in early trading and it was infuriating. I did read the post re the problems, but perhaps we use different servers. They have about 20 and you can pick the ones you want. I bookmark the servers I like (plain brown wrapper ones for speed- no bells or whistles) and usually open two of them go directly to them without accessing the main datek site.

I also read the post on their streaming quotes and although I was invited to use them, I receive netscape error messages when I try to use it. The problem is mine, not theirs.

You might find the lack of stop loss orders on NASDAQ stocks a problem. ei: you would not have been able to place your stop loss on CIEN the other day.
That is why I use both Etrade & Datek. They both serve their purpose. (I also tried Ameritrade.......... for about 60 seconds)
