Thanks for posting the VIX and TRIN numbers yesterday.

I was unable to get numbers from quote.com and was flying blind.

Of course things degraded for me and my ISP had his T1 line go down and was off line for most of the day.

Liquidity picture:

I expect cash flows to continue out of bonds until the auction takes place.

The US dollar seems to have stabilized and foreign (to the US) cash seems to be flowing this way.

The up turn in the overall market has not been great enough to account for the cash that went on the side from 401k programs. Each day the market goes up more the feelings of sellers remorse sets in deeper for these folks.

Many folks have decided to wait for a dip or pullback in this market to jump back in. With as many folks setting on the side with cash the expected dip may not take place. That is, a dip within a period of time that will make the wait worth it.

Fed funds trading at 5 7/16 .. much higher than the targeted 5% rate implies additional cash being generated for an expected dip.

Bottom line .. cash is still flowing into this market and much more cash is setting on the side just waiting for the next dip to buy.

FWIW
