>>You figure Syquest's demise would be good for a run in Iomega. 8-9 maximum, though, unless Paula Jones accepts a Zip drive to settle her lawsuit <g> <<

Trufflette -

I don't expect to see 8 until and unless Clik! shows definite signs of being a hit or there is some other very positive news out of Roy. I know you said that was a maximum, but I'd be pleased to see it.

Some people will undoubtedly interpret SyQuest's death as meaning that this whole market sector is just unprofitable. I don't buy that argument, but it's about what I expect Herb Greenberg to say.

BTW, it's nice to see the old crowd back. I guess it's time to admit that I got sucked back into Iomega a couple of months ago, on that sudden move up to seven. I thought something was afoot then.

Since that time both my wife and my broker have been after me to sell, but I have had the gut feeling that the worst was over for the company, and the stock price would soon recover. It was hard holding as it bounced off of 3. I'll be happy just to get out without a loss at this point. Then, if the company completes the turnaround and goes back to growing, I can just be happy for those who continue to hold.
