Hi Tippet, my young taught themselves to read at age 3 by watching Sesame Street. Of course, I did read to them a lot myself. In fact, it was sort of a relief once they started reading on their own. Now, I just have to explain what they read means. This sometimes gets dicey, especially lately since our local rag is the Washington Post.<g> They know all too much about deviant sex acts, at least in theory.<g>
