Ask someone that works there and see what THEY TELL YOU!!!>> Simply for the sake of conjecture, what if Tlab is dropping because it's known that someone else (Csco as a first-grab example) is going for Cien and it's thought that this will suck royally for Tlab's future? Just throwing the thought on the table as an alternative to the more logical Tlab's going down because an acquisition of Cien would be dilutive.

Doug, Yes, I'm the guy LOL. It's nice of you to remember me. We still have two threads on SI and most of us from the thread that you are referring to still hang out together. The threads aren't as active as they used to be because we chat on IRC real time during the day but we still get quite a bit of discussion. We even got together in Las Vegas last October and are planning to meet again in a few months. It was a lot of fun. Here are the links to the threads on SI. exchange2000.com exchange2000.com From a pure chart perspective, CIEN broke out on the daily chart and has resistance near 29 on the weekly chart. I would expect support to occur at the upper daily bollinger band, which is currently at about 18 3/4 and rising. If the stock declines below 18 3/4, then I'd be willing to bet that the takeover is not going to occur and there would be additional downside risk to 15 or 16.
