Zoltan, at least we agree on the point that a big win by the Democrats would be negative for the market. Look at quote.yahoo.com^DJI&d=5y The market actually declined in the weeks following the big Republican win in 1994, although I agree that the current bull market started in early 1995. The bull market accelerated with the Clinton win in 1996.

I don't think the market wants either party to have much control.
