Had Not Seen That Piece... Nice Catch... This is interesting for a variety of reasons. Some senior SAP people have made it clear that SAP is NOT going to win the "cool technology" battle but that that they will, like Microsoft, focus on creating the most dummy-proof USER INTERFACE. Obviously, as this article would indicate, they've got a ways to travel on that FRONT. UI is something that Sanjiv and ITWO are also very focused on. I can't remember if you said you were at PLANET or not. Had you visited their Real-Time Theater you'd have seen a UI that was EXTREMELY impressive and natural. (Actually, it was mind blowing.) I asked afterwards if that particular UI was ready to roll... and was told they were at most 2 quarters from delivery. They tend to err on the conservative side in their product delivery estimates.... this by my own experience. Again, great article. Thanks... c m
