Richard, The reason I mention cable costs is because you said DSS was bringing them down. I have seen no downward movement anywhere.

Yes, entrepreneurs would find a way to dump raw sewage in the world's water supply if given a shot at that $16 billion business.

Private schools may be better. The point is, who should pay for them. I think it should be the parents who opt out of the public system for whatever reason. They are doing a slight public disservice by not fighting and working for better public schools for what they think is a larger advantage for their children. If they want to do that, it is their choice. The point is, the public should not then subsidize their elite option. And, of course, as we get more folks opting for private schools, they vote against local school bonds and try to roll back property taxes, making it even tougher for public schools.
