re: "Is it time to dump this stock? I am already up almost 30% since about a month ago."

THAT IS A DECISION YOU MUST MAKE FOR YOURSELF. THE UPSIDE ON THE STOCK OVER SEVERAL YEARS IS IN EXCESS OF $500 . THE DOWNSIDE OBVIOUSLY IS ZERO. I JUST WISH THAT I HAD TEN MORE OF THESE TO SPREAD MY RISK. THEY SEEM TO NOT EXIST. ANY MARKET INEFFICIENCY AT THE MOMENT APPEARS TO BE IN THE DIRECTION OF OVERLY PESSIMISTIC.

I'm thinking on the same wavelength as you, TT. I don't currently hold any AMD, but I'm seriously thinking about shorting when it hits the $25-$30 range. My opinion is that the current prices assume that AMD will proceed flawlessly from here on out and I don't think it will play out that way.

And stuff like this, from a recent post...

THE UPSIDE ON THE STOCK OVER SEVERAL YEARS IS IN EXCESS OF $500 . THE DOWNSIDE OBVIOUSLY IS ZERO.

...makes me all the more comfortable going short.

Are you talking about just taking profits, or are you considering going short as well? I'd like your opinion as a current AMD investor.
