This article says AMD and CPQ got the cream of the crop of DEC's CPU designers, and Intel got the rest:

Yousef,

WRONG AGAIN.

AMD made some money last quarter while pumping less than 50% capacity. They will make a lot more this quarter with the fab running at 2/3 fab. Q1/Q2 they will be awash in revenues as Fab 25 starts cranking at capacity.

For a fab. expert you sure keep underestimating AMD.

Perhaps that why your rational side forced you to buy the 10 shares in AMD a few weeks ago and sees the stock at $30 in a few weeks no less!!!

Your irrational side keeps coming out with the same old crap:

They can't yield em so they can't ship any.
They can't speed em up...300Mhz by end of 98.
They can't sell 'em as no-one wants em.
They can't make money...run out of money in 98.
Now it's they don't have the capacity...6000 wafers/mo is all lies.
It's the FETS!!! its the FETS!!!they have slow FETS!!!

Perhaps you can post us again on how AMD will never ship faster than XXX Mhz in 99, it will at least be good for a laugh.

Regards,

Kash
